The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, on Monday lauded Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for her compassionate disposition, empowerment and service through the medium of her office.
Aroyewun, emphasised that the First Lady has used her position to complement and support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The council boss in Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, gave the commendations in a statement today, while commemorating Sen. Remi Tinubu’s birthday.
“Your Excellency, on this special occasion of your birthday, I, on behalf of the government and good people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area, extend our warmest felicitations to you and celebrate your remarkable contributions to our nation.”
“Your tenure as First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has demonstrated that the office can be a powerful platform for compassion, empowerment and service. Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, you have complemented the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, by taking interventions directly to women, young people, children and vulnerable Nigerians across the country.”
He listed maternal and child care, agriculture, economic empowerment, digital interventions among others as areas that the Office of the First Lady has impacted. He added that she has elevated the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Your interventions in maternal and child health, education, agriculture, economic empowerment and digital inclusion reflect a commitment to ensuring that the dividends of governance reach those who need them most. From support for mothers and healthcare workers to Community IT Centres empowering women and young people with digital skills, your work continues to touch lives and create opportunities.’
“Beyond your public responsibilities, your steadfast support for Mr President remains admirable. Through the demands of leadership and national transformation, you have remained a dependable partner, combining the responsibilities of family with your own commitment to national service.
“Your humanitarian interventions and personal giving further demonstrate a heart committed to service and the wellbeing of others. You have continued to use your position and resources to bring hope, dignity and opportunity to Nigerians across different communities.”
Congratulating Sen. Remi Tinubu on her birthday anniversary, Aroyewun, said:
